Rotary After Work of Fort Collins Colorado is a group of individuals motivated to change the world through the Rotary International organization. We have a small membership (currently about 25) which allows us to interact with each other at each meeting. We hear each other and support each other, making it easy to voice your opinions and thoughts at our meetings. Our small club makes a big impact. We have several international projects and are active in our community. Come visit and see the impact of “small” and the spirit of friendship that our club has.
Our club received four awards at the district conference in Steamboat Springs this past summer (2103). We received: The District Governor's Citation which is awarded to a club that has less than 40 members for membership, Rotary Foundation work, training, technology and communication; the World Community Service Award for our club's international service projects (our school, our sanitary facilites, the Nepal orphan project, KIVA, water projects in South Africa and Haiti), the District Community Service Award (FRCC scholarship, bone marrow registry support and the Houska Houska, Grandparent Alliance, RYLA, YRYLA, STEM, Christmas snowman craft project at the Boys' and Girls' Club, Lee Martinez Park Cleanup, Operation Christmas Child, Pathways Hospice, Animal House (pet toys from recycled materials), First Serve, Give Kids a Smile, Poudre River Learning Center); and the Future of Rotary Award (members age 40 and younger - 10%, members age 50 and younger - 40%). Come join our club and help us make a difference.
